I live pretty far from most stores.
I learned years ago to always check my bill for mistakes before I leave the store, that way I can take care of them right away.
Other wise I may forget.
I do not usually have problems at most retail stores.
But grocery stores that is another thing. I am always finding mistakes.
Items that are on sale but do not ring up right. Being charged for the wrong fruit etc.
Some store are so bad that I will not shop at them.
Is it just me?

My husband once got overcharged by over A HUNDRED DOLLARS and DIDN'T NOTICE! I was furious! ;p Apparently, they had a bar code by the register for a certain item, and as the cashier put the scanner back, she accidentally scanned that code. I can't believe neither of them noticed - I think he had maybe two other items, totaling less than $20. Needless to say, I am a *compulsive* receipt-checker - I have been overcharged so many times, it's just an automatic habit now!
